Intellectual Property
Code Ownership:
- Client owns all custom code developed specifically for their project
- Full source code access provided upon project completion
- Complete documentation and architectural diagrams included
- No restrictions on future modifications or maintenance by other developers
Third-Party Components:
- Open-source libraries remain under their respective licenses
- Commercial libraries require separate licensing by client
- All dependencies clearly documented with version information
- License compliance guidance provided for all components
Client Responsibilities
Required from Client:
- Clear project requirements and objectives
- Necessary assets (images, content, branding materials)
- Access to required accounts (Google Play Console, etc.)
- Timely feedback on deliverables and milestones
- Prompt approval of design and functionality decisions
Collaboration Expectations:
- Participation in testing phases and bug reporting
- Availability for regular progress meetings
- Provision of content and copy in agreed formats
- Adherence to agreed payment schedules
- Respect for development best practices and recommendations
Limitations and Liability
Service Limitations:
- Development services are provided on a best-effort basis
- Third-party service availability and performance not guaranteed
- App store approval processes are beyond developer control
- Device compatibility limited to specifications agreed upon
Warranty and Liability:
- 30-day warranty on delivered functionality from project completion
- Bug fixes provided at no additional cost during warranty period
- Liability limited to the total project value
- Force majeure events may affect delivery timelines
